1. Eligibility for Returns
Products may be returned if they meet the following conditions:
- Returned within 14 days of delivery
- In unused condition, with original packaging and accessories
- Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
Exceptions: Custom lighting orders, clearance items, and opened electrical components may not be eligible for return unless defective.
2. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact us via info@lightingsolutions.co.ke within the return window
- Provide order details and reason for return
- Our team will issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and guide you on shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or delivered in error.
3. Inspection and Approval
Returned items are inspected upon arrival. Refunds or replacements will be approved if:
- The product passes quality checks
- The return was initiated within policy timeframes
- Packaging and condition are acceptable
Lighting Solutions Limited reserves the right to reject returns that fail these criteria.
4. Refund Timeline
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days of return approval
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- If payment was made via M-Pesa, bank transfer, or card, expect timing variations based on your provider
5. Defective or Incorrect Products
If your item arrives damaged or doesn’t match your order:
- Contact us within 72 hours of delivery
- Submit photos and a description of the issue
- We will arrange for prompt replacement or refund, including return shipping costs
6. Cancellation Policy
Orders may be canceled before shipment for a full refund. After dispatch, our return process applies.
